"The Beard" has worn six different jerseys over 17 NBA seasons, most recently joining the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2026. Born August 26, 1989, in Compton, California. Height 6 ft 5 in (196 cm).
He played at Arizona State (2007–2009), earning Pac-10 Player of the Year honors, before being drafted 3rd overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2009. He won Sixth Man of the Year in 2012 before being traded to the Houston Rockets, where he developed into one of the league's most prolific scorers, later playing for the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, and now the Cavaliers.
Harden won the NBA MVP award in 2018 and three consecutive scoring titles (2018–2020). His step-back three-point shot became one of the most copied moves in basketball. An 11-time All-Star, he made the All-NBA First Team six times and led the league in assists twice.
Career totals over 1,221 games: 24.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game — he ranks among the NBA's all-time leading scorers, having passed 25,000 career points during the 2023–24 season.
