Dwyane Wade — Bio

Born January 17, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. Height 6 ft 4 in (193 cm). Nicknamed "D-Wade" and "Flash," he is regarded as one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history and spent most of his 16-season career (2003–2019) with the Miami Heat.

He played college basketball at Marquette (2001–2003), leading the team to the Final Four in 2003 and earning consensus first-team All-American honors.

Drafted 5th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2003 NBA Draft. In his third season, he led Miami to its first NBA championship and was named 2006 NBA Finals MVP. He later helped the Heat win back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 alongside LeBron James and Chris Bosh — three championships in total.

A 13-time NBA All-Star, he was named the 2010 NBA All-Star Game MVP, led the league in scoring in 2008–09 (30.2 ppg), and was twice named to the All-NBA First Team (2009, 2010). He briefly played for the Chicago Bulls (2016–2017) and Cleveland Cavaliers (2017–2018) before finishing his career back in Miami.

Career totals: 23,165 points (22.0 ppg), 4,933 rebounds (4.7 rpg), 5,701 assists (5.4 apg).

Named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. His No. 3 was retired by the Miami Heat in 2020. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023.
