"Knick Killer" — the nickname earned for a lifetime of daggers against New York, none more famous than his 8 points in 9 seconds. Reggie Miller was born August 24, 1965, in Riverside, California. Height 6 ft 7 in (201 cm).

He played at UCLA (1983–1987), earning third-team All-American honors and Pac-10 Tournament MVP in 1987. Drafted 11th overall by the Indiana Pacers in the 1987 NBA Draft, he played his entire 18-year career with the team.

Miller retired as the NBA's all-time leader in three-point field goals made, with 2,560, a record later surpassed by Ray Allen and Stephen Curry. A five-time NBA All-Star, he led the league in free-throw percentage five times. He never won a championship, but led the Pacers to the 2000 NBA Finals, where they lost to the Lakers. He won an Olympic gold medal with Team USA in 1996.
