A gruesome leg injury suffered during a 2014 Team USA exhibition game threatened to end his career entirely — instead, Paul George rebuilt himself into a nine-time All-Star and one of the league's most durable two-way wings. Born May 2, 1990, in Palmdale, California. Height 6 ft 8 in (203 cm).
He played at Fresno State (2008–2010) before being drafted 10th overall by the Indiana Pacers in 2010. He won Most Improved Player in 2013 and led Indiana to consecutive Eastern Conference Finals appearances before a 2017 trade to the Oklahoma City Thunder, followed by the Los Angeles Clippers (2019–2024). He signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2024, and in July 2026 was traded to the Boston Celtics.
Nicknamed "PG-13," George is a nine-time NBA All-Star, has made the All-NBA Team six times (once First Team, in 2019), and the All-Defensive Team four times. He led the league in steals in 2019.
Career totals: 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game over 945 games and 16 seasons, with roughly 19,300 career points.
