Nicknamed "The Joker," Nikola Jokić has redefined the modern center position with his passing and all-around game. Born February 19, 1995, in Sombor, Serbia. Height 6 ft 11 in (211 cm).
He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the second round (41st overall) of the 2014 NBA Draft — famously selected during a Taco Bell commercial that aired during the broadcast — while still playing professionally in Serbia. He joined the Nuggets for the 2015–16 season and has played for the team ever since.
Jokić has won three NBA MVP awards (2021, 2022, 2024) and led Denver to its first-ever NBA championship in 2023, earning Finals MVP after averaging 30.2 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 7.2 assists in the series. An 8-time NBA All-Star, he has made the All-NBA First Team six times and Second Team twice. He is second all-time in career triple-doubles and holds the record for the fastest triple-double in NBA history (14 minutes, 33 seconds).
Through the 2025–26 season, over 810 regular-season games, he has averaged 22.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game.
