Derrick Lamar Henry Jr. is a running back for the Baltimore Ravens, born January 4, 1994, in Yulee, Florida (6'2", 252 lbs). He won the 2015 Heisman Trophy at Alabama before being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, joining the Ravens in 2024. He's the 2020 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, first-team All-Pro, and five-time Pro Bowler.
Known as "King Henry" for his imposing power-back style, Henry is the only player ever to rush for 2,000+ yards in a season at the high school, college, and professional levels. After a slow start as a backup in Tennessee, he broke out in 2019, leading the league in rushing, and topped that in 2020 by rushing for 2,027 yards — becoming just the eighth player in NFL history to clear 2,000 — and winning Offensive Player of the Year.
Henry signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024 and immediately set franchise records, posting 1,921 rushing yards at age 30 while leading the league in yards after contact and broken tackles. He's continued to climb the all-time rushing charts since, passing Hall of Famers Marcus Allen, Edgerrin James, Marshall Faulk, and Jim Brown on the career list.
Henry has also been a standout performer in the postseason, holding several playoff rushing records and helping both the Titans and Ravens to deep playoff runs.
Through the 2025 season, Henry ranks among the NFL's all-time leaders in career rushing yards and touchdowns, and remains one of the most physically punishing running backs to ever play the position.
