He arrived in Memphis with a reputation as a locker-room problem and left as the most beloved player in franchise history — "Z-Bo" and the gritty "Grit and Grind" Grizzlies became inseparable from each other. Born July 16, 1981, in Marion, Indiana. Height 6 ft 9 in (206 cm).
He played one season at Michigan State (2000–2001). Drafted 19th overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2001, he won the Most Improved Player award in 2004 before later playing for the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers, then finding his defining years with the Memphis Grizzlies (2009–2017), leading the franchise's deepest playoff runs. He closed his career with the Sacramento Kings.
A two-time NBA All-Star (2010, 2013), Randolph made the All-NBA Third Team in 2011, known for a physical low-post game and elite offensive rebounding.
Career totals: 18,578 points (16.6 ppg), 10,208 rebounds (9.1 rpg), 2,049 assists (1.8 apg) over 1,116 games and 17 seasons.
